Buteyko Exercise 2b breathe light- Feather

This is an audio recorded exercise. In this series of exercises (Breathe Light) the goal is to allow breathing to soften, to slow down and reduce breathing using the finger (like a feather) to cue the short, light breathing exercise.

Biochemistry: Reduce the chemosensitivity of the body to the build-up of carbon dioxide

Tolerable Air Hunger The air hunger felt during these Buteyko exercises is to achieve a degree of air hunger just below the point where the brain reacts; to be on the verge of disrupting your breathing rhythm but not going beyond it.

*do not practice for a strong air hunger or long duration of air hunger.

*in breath retraining, it is always helpful to contact a teacher for support.
